I'm Curtis, and I build software that makes daily life easier.

About me
Hello! I'm Curtis, known online as O_Metroboomn. I was born and raised in Alabama, and I love to code.
I got into coding because of what it can do for the world. A few lines of code can automate a chore, bring people together, or turn something complicated into something anyone can use. That possibility is what keeps me building.
Today I work as an independent software engineer. I create web platforms, Discord bots, dashboards, and database tools, mostly with Python and Node.js, and I take web security seriously in everything I ship.
It isn't always smooth. Coding comes with bugs that hide for hours, hardware that refuses to cooperate, and projects that take far more time than planned. I treat those as part of the craft: every fix leaves me with a better understanding of the system and a more reliable product for the people who use it.
Why I build
I build applications that make everyday life easier.
The best tools fit quietly into your routine. You don't study them or work around them; you open them, get what you needed, and carry on with your day. That is the standard I hold my own work to.
Every project starts with the same question: what small, repeated task could software take off someone's plate? From there I aim for the simplest dependable answer, ship it, and keep refining it as people use it.
Easy to pick up
If the basics need a manual, I keep simplifying until they don't.
Made for real routines
Each app targets a task people actually repeat, not a long feature list.
Safe by default
Security is part of the build from the first commit, not a patch added later.
